Dante's Empire and Rendez Vous, two horses from the Dressage Together stable in Lunteren, the Netherlands, have been selected for the third and final selection for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses (WCYH) in Verden, Germany.
What the selection means
Reaching the final selection for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses is a real marker for a young horse. It means the horse has come through the earlier rounds and is in contention for a place at the championships in Verden, where the world's top young dressage horses come together.
Having two horses reach this stage in the same season is something we're quietly proud of. Young horses develop at their own pace, and getting them here without rushing the work is the part that matters to us.
What comes next
Both Dante's Empire and Rendez Vous now go forward to the final selection, with a place at the World Championships on the line. We'll share how they get on as the process moves forward.
